The House on Chicken Legs

One day, Vasilisa is sent by her step-mother and step-sisters to search for a light… at the house of the infamous BABA YAGA.

When the Baba Yaga greets her at the door, with teeth of iron and legs sprouting with thick black hair, she will invite Vasilisa inside.

Vasilisa must go. But will she survive the evening, and return home alive?

In this spare and haunting retelling of the classic fairy tales featuring the Baba Yaga, including Vasilisa the Beautiful, this dark fairytale is illustrated by the breathtaking illustrations of Ukrainian artist Sergii Shkloliar. It forms a part of the Storyberries Dark Fairy Tales Collection.
