Four Small Suitcases

Helga, Jack, Irma and Farid: four children faced with war and conflict.

Their parents pack each of them a small backpack as they face a new unknown future.

Where will they end up? What will they bring? And will they ever see their loved ones again?

Four Small Suitcases is a story for children about the human effect of war on innocent families. It offers a child’s perspective on the dislocation of war. It helps children to see the faces and families behind refugees, both in history and today.
